• Mary Turner Thomson

    Managing Director

"Writing has the power to heal, to inspire, and to transform lives. By sharing our stories, we not only create a legacy, but also ignite a spark within others. Let's join hands and write our way to a brighter future, together."

Meet Mary Turner Thomson, a wordsmith extraordinaire, co-founder of The Book Whisperers, and captain of the Book Whisperers C.I.C. As an international best-selling author ("The Bigamist" and "The Psychopath"), writing coach, editor, and publishing consultant, Mary's expertise makes her a guiding light for writers and authors in the literary world.

When the pandemic lockdowns struck, Mary channeled her creative prowess into co-founding The Book Whisperers Community Interest Company – where writers find support, advice, and mirth in the company of fellow tale-spinners. Adept at wielding the pen to heal, she transformed her own trauma into a best-selling memoir that inspires others.

Mary's fervour for shepherding writers towards the exhilarating shores of non-traditional publishing led her to establish WhiteWater Publishing Ltd in 2009. Her consultancy has navigated countless individuals, businesses, and schools through the self-publishing seas, launching over 100 books penned by aspiring authors.

As a vital cog in The Book Whisperers' enchanting machine, Mary dedicates her talents to helping writers of all levels share their stories, connect with like-minded individuals, and thrive in the ever-evolving literary landscape. So, hop aboard and embark on a thrilling voyage of writing discovery alongside Mary and our gallant crew.
