YOU get to help shape the services we provide!
'The Book Whisperers' was originally started in March 2020 by three authors - Lea Taylor, Mary Turner Thomson and Susan Cohen - to help those people in the pandemic lockdown use their enforced free time to good use. How many of us have said that we would write a book 'if we only had the time'?
Since then The Book Whisperers have grown arms and legs and tails and tentacles. With monthly evening live shows providing advice on writing, published anthologies by the members (STIR CRAZY and ONCE UPON ANOTHER TIME) and three x six week writing courses which were free to members for the first year, whilst also inspiring and supporting the launch of various books which came out of the members over the year.
The Book Whisperers have been such a huge success that we have now made it into a Community Interest Company which can continue to provide writers and authors with support, encouragement and resources to help more books be produced and more stories to see the light of day - with any surplus income going back into the community to help encourage the next generation of writers.
